So often clients are “feeling stuck” because they really aren’t clear on what they want.  Ultimately, all goals and visions come down to the feelings we think having those things are going to give us.  Being able to help a client identify what that is for them, and helping them create goals and strategies to move them forward is essential to their coaching.  When a client has a very clear picture of what they are trying to accomplish and they know why it is important to them, they are more motivated to action.  For a coach, it’s essential to know the deeper purpose behind a client’s goals in order to keep them focused and making progress.

Course Objectives:

  • Understand the difference between a vision and a goal
  • Be able to articulate the deeper meaning for your vision and know how to help clients articulate theirs

NOTE: Students are NOT required to purchase expensive programs! Using parent education resources borrowed through the library, or borrowed from a local agency or viewed online will suffice. If students wish to purchase materials, it is up to their discretion and can be purchased USED on www.amazon.com, etc. The design of this course is not to endorse a singular program but to study benefits/costs of a variety parent education programs and encourage the “co-creator” coaching relationship to guide the parent coaching process.
